I'd be willing to bet people are wondering where the title of this comic came from. "Mortism" is a word I made up, and its definition is related to racism and sexism. Mortism is discriminating agianst an individual or group of individuals based on whether or not they are alive. It is a very serious matter, mortists have been known to commit horrible attrocities against the dead (who prefer to be called Lifeless-Americans), which include burning them not alive, sealing them in a box, or burying them in the ground. They have an almost no opportunities in the workforce to hold down a job, own a house, or raise a family; many mortists don't even consider them human anymore. THE TIME HAS COME PEOPLE TO STAND UP AGAINST DEAD DISCRIMINATION!

I really hope nobody takes any of the above seriously.
